GeneMind Pathogen Solution

Targeted Next-generation Sequencing (tNGS) for Pathogenic Microorganism combines multiplex PCR and NGS to identify hundreds of known pathogenic microorganisms and their associated virulence and/or drug resistance genes in the specimens. The method excels in its sensitivity, enabling the detection of pathogens even at low concentrations in a cost-effective manner.

Based on super-multiplex targeted amplification and NGS technology, GeneMind Pathogen Solution (GPS) can be used for the detection of pathogens in general scenarios, including 476 pathogens, 192 drug resistance genes/mutations and 25 hypervirulence genes, as well as co-detection of DNA and RNA Pathogens. It is suitable for various clinical scenarios, such as moderate or severe infections, mixed infections, and suspected drug resistant infections.
